http://www.cnn.com/2011/OPINION/01/25/pearlman.football.concussions/index.html
According to Jeff Pearlman, playing football is bad for you. He refferces to how players that retire or after they are done playing suffer from severe dementia and not able to walk. He talks about how some players that played back in the 80's and even later. Though you can suffer and get injuried by playing to this day there is much better gear to help and protect NFL players. So I would have to disagree with the fact that playing football is bad for you. It is only bad if your not prepared and if you not wearing the equipment the right way or be as safe as possible. The persuasive techniques they used were Testimonial. I really think this opinion makes me pretty mad due to how he uses players that played back in the later times were equipment wasn't as well made or as safe. Now also the rules help to prevent injury and help keep NFl players as safe and healthy as possible.

Nuclear Weapons persuasive essay
To begin, the invention of nuclear weapons is a great idea due to how it can protect the U.S. With the nuclear weapons we have available the United States is able to protect themselves by threatening other countries that might want to attack the United States . With this ability we are able to stop wars that may flare up and cause a loss of many lives. Also while in interest to help to protect weaker countries and help countries from being attacked. This is what the cold war illustrated as the U.S. helped other countries from Russia . This is a risky move it’s possible that this could end the world or cause millions of deaths. “If ever threatened by a country we can target them with or stock pile of missile silos in over 40 countries throughout Europe and the Middle East” according to the article (The Atomic Bombing of Hiroshima).
The next reason why the invention of nuclear weapons is a great idea is the fact that it can save millions of soldier’s lives. Instead of invading Japan and possibly having a greater loss of life, we did as we did and it killed many people. This also saved millions of lives. It also could prevent future war due to Japan looking back and seeing what happened, they may never attack the United States again. This in the end is saving millions of American soldier’s and Japanese soldier’s life by the cost of about a million lives. “The U.S. estimated if they invaded Japan a loss of 1.5-2 millions soldier’s” according to the article (The Atomic Bombing of Hiroshima).
The last reason why the invention of nuclear weapons is how they can help win a war that might not be won. With the power that the United States has many countries don’t have the ability to beat the United States . Though by having nuclear weapons if the U.S. is ever in trouble during a war they have the ability to possibly end a war in a heart beat. This is something that in the future may protect us against losing our freedom that we fight so hard for. “The United States ended the war in the Pacific 5 years earlier than predicted by dropping the two atomic bombs that were dropped” according to the article (The Atomic Bombing of Hiroshima).
On the other hand, many people might disagree due the fact that if it gets in the wrong hands it could cause a nuclear holocaust. Though this is possible I predict that this will never happen because the U.S. would invade that country and confincat their missiles and make sure they were to never see them again. “After the cold war an agreement was put in effect to lower the danger of a nuclear war” According to the article ( Prevention of Nuclear War Agreement).
In conclusion, the invention of nuclear weapons shall help us keep our freedom and save our soldiers lives. While also having the ability to protect ourselves and other allied countries and even help to end wars that may not be fought safely or have the security of a victory. Now when you wake up and you go do what you want remember that the invention of nuclear weapons has gave you the ability to do those things. By protesting against the use of nuclear weapons your risking the loss of all of your freedom. What price will you put on your freedom?

Opinion
This assignment is alright, it beats doing somthing that would have us staying in the classroom. It is fun to do for awhile. Though after some time goes by I'm sure this will get old and I'll start to dislike doing this. For now it is fun to do so I'm good with doing this for awhile. It's similar to facebook and twitter. So it is just normal to do for me. It is pretty fun though not many people will see my post except me and a few others.
